I’m Beau Anthony Frusetta – Son of Joseph & Jacquelin Frusetta, Brother of John & Stormi Frusetta, Husband to Tammi Frusetta, and Father to Alexis, Dominic, & Charlotte (Charlie).
I was born in Modesto, CA and moved to Phoenix, AZ on Christmas Day, 1984. I still remember that Christmas morning in the Super 8 motel off of 7th St like it was yesterday and that little robot that “Santa” got for me. So began my journey here in the desert.
I went to school at a few different places – Valley View Elementary, MLK Elementary, Laveen Elementary, Centennial Middle School, then Mountain Pointe High School. I’d like to believe I got a pretty well rounded education even if I went to schools that were less than desirable in my younger years.
After high school, I tried college for a little over a year while I tried to maintain a full time job – the job won, and my career took off from there. I worked for SRP for a few years, Conseco Finance for a little over a year, Unicorn Financial, Highwinds Media, Freelanced, 944 Magazine, Integrum Tech, Freelanced again, worked over @ Bulbstorm on some badass projects, and now I’m back to my entrepreneurial roots with FantasyBaseballAlerts.com, WasThis.net, and DateDesigner.com.
Basically – I’m a web developer. I started off my career as a database developer (SQL Server 6.5/7/2000/2005), then moved my way up to being more of a database architect, but then again, that’s just me trying to class it up I suppose. I got in to building stuff for the web when I worked for SRP, but never really got my hands dirty until I moved over to Conseco Finance.
I never really started “learning” about developing for the web until I started freelancing in 2007 – that’s when it really took off for me. I had a solid base of a few years of PHP development, but I didn’t really start learning on an exponential level until then. Most recently I’ve been working with Ruby on Rails, and honestly, I’m in love with it. I still have quite a bit to learn, but my time with Integrum Tech has really taught me a lot about the agile software development process and mostly looking at my skills and figuring out ways to make them better.
I’m also an entrepreneur at heart – I guess you can say it’s in my blood. My Grandfather owned many different businesses in his lifetime (car dealerships, restaurant, auto shop), my Uncle still runs Discount Auto Electric in Modesto, CA, my Father has owned a few different businesses, and I’ve been trying to follow in their footsteps for as long as I can remember. I’ve got a few projects of my own – DateDesigner.com & LotDrifter.com are my most recent projects.
So here we are…that’s about as brief as I can get for the past 30 years.
If you see me around at Gangplank HQ, or at any social events in the Phoenix Metro Area, say hi – I’m pretty hard to miss.

If you want to get a hold of me, the best way is via email – firstname.lastname@example.org. Some times it takes me a while to get back to you, but I will say this, my phone is attached to me 24/7, so it’s unlikely that I’ll let an email go long without a response.
