Yes, you read that right.
I just happen to be fortunate enough to live in a place where there are plenty of people with boat loads of cash to burn, that just so happen to own the rarest of automobile’s in the world that don’t have to see the inside of a garage during the fall/winter months. That was a mouthful.
…that’s what she said…
Because of this, there’s no shortage of seeing the coolest of cars on a daily basis in the valley – hell, just walk through the parking garage at my office any given day – it represent’s Lamborghini, Ferrari, BMW, and Audi very well.
A friend of mine tipped me off today about a sale of one of rarest of Ferrari’s – the FXX Evoluzione with it’s 6.2L V12 @ 860hp. Pretty much a street legal Ferrari race car. Supposedly, it’s being auctioned off in Scottsdale on January 21-22, 2011 by Gooding & Company. The gem of the auction, 1 of 30 FXX Ferrari’s from Benny Caiola’s (fellow Sicilian) collection.
Estimates for this car have it going for $2.5m – anyone wanna float me some cash? I wonder if the CEO of my company will be there? He appreciates fine Italian auto’s (Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder & Ferrari F430 Spyder). Either way – I’ll be there with Dom to further pass on my auto-addiction.
